Family Voices--Advocacy for Children with Special Health Needs Site partnering with professional and families to advocate for health care services that are family-centered, community-based, comprehensive, coordinated and culturally competent.

Kids Health Medical expert advice for kids, parents and teens.  Interactive and fun.  In English and Spanish.

Child Health Center - This site provides resources for parents, pediatricians, grandparents and guardians concerning children's health issues.

KidsHealth for Kids -  KidsHealth is the largest and most visited site on the Web providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence. Created by The Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media, the award-winning KidsHealth provides families with accurate, up-to-date, and jargon-free health information they can use.  This site is specially designed for kids to answer health and safety questions along with interactive activities.

Volusia County Schools Curriculum Department Page - This page provides an abundance of information including entrance, promotion and graduation requirements as well as grade level curriculum resources with easy to follow links.

Florida Department of Education - This website is an extensive compilation of rules, requirements, information and reports for education in the State of Florida.

One Voice for Volusia A coalition of representatives from over 100 non-profit, governmental, and community-based organizations working to improve the lives of Volusia County youth and families. 

Engaging Youth - See how youth identify and perceive community issues in this report.

Bipolar Disorder (Early onset in Children and Adolescents) - This website contains extensive information regarding pediatric Bipolar Disorder.

Children's Medical Services - The Children's Medical Services (CMS) program provides children with special health care needs with a family centered, managed system of care.

Schwab Learning - This website provides information and articles on the subject of learning disabilities, including an online newsletter.

Wrightslaw - A valuable website for families seeking information on special education law.

Volusia County Schools - Link to exceptional student education page for public schools in Volusia County.  Link to Title I page for public schools in Volusia County.  To find the name of your child's school psychologist click here.  To find the name of your child's school social worker click here.

Flagler County Schools - Link to public schools in Flagler County.

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district exceptional student education programs and families of students with exceptionalities statewide.

Brave Kids - Brave Kids was founded on June 9, 1999, by Kristen Fitzgerald , after the loss of her two children to catastrophic illnesses. The Brave Kids program has been approved by and is linked to over 110 health organizations such as: The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, The National Brain Tumor Foundation, the National Pediatric AIDS Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, and the National Children's Cancer Society.

Circle of Parents - Circle of Parents support groups provides a friendly, supportive environment led by trained facilitators, parents and other caregivers. It's a place where anyone in a parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children.  There are many Circle of Parents Support Groups in Volusia and Flagler counties. View the calendar.

Parenting Resources for the 21st Century Federally sponsored through the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Site included child development, childcare and education, family concerns, family dynamics, health  and safety and out-of-school activities.

Parenting Tips--From 0 to 3 Site powered by Zero to Three, a national nonprofit organization of renown pediatricians, educators, researchers and other child development experts who specialize in the first three years of life.  Includes topics A to Z, printouts and frequently asked questions.

Parenting.com Categories include activities, behavior, childcare, development, health, nutrition, products, safety, school and sleep.  Divided into pregnancy, baby, toddler and child.

Positive Parenting Dedicated to providing resources and information to help make parenting more creative, rewarding and fun.  Good links.

Florida Kinship This site is dedicated to serving kinship care families - grandparents and other relatives raising children - in the State of Florida.
Foundation for Grandparents This organization is dedicated to raising grandparent consciousness to better the lives of grandchildren, parents and grandparents through education, research, programs, communication, and networking.
Grandparenting Today This site provides some legal resources, answers to questions grandparents raising grandkids have asked on national satellite conventions & support group information.
